If it is not described in the instuctions that came with your remote, they may not exist.

The feature set for a recorder is so rich and device-dependent, sometimes buried menus deep, you may not find a suitable replacement for the original. For example, the Panasonic E100 remote will Open or Close the tray on the E85 and EH55, but the PLAYLIST which takes me directly to the Playlist screen on the E100 is not recognised on the others; three button clicks on the E85 remote, seven clickes and three screens deep on the EH55 remote.
