My Netflix Queue looks like everyone else’s - almost all HD titles on "Very Ling Wait". I understand that it's not a big enough market for them to be buying up crazy amounts of Bluray and HD-DVDs, not to mention that some are twice as expensive as their DVD counterparts.
While I’m certainly not thrilled with the service, as a former Laserdisc owner I may have already been beaten into submission in regards to boutique-format availability.
If they allowed you to open up a special HD queue for an extra 5-10 bucks a month, but with a guaranteed availability clause (like the one Blockbuster has on new releases), would you sign up for it?
I've never had any problem getting HDM from Netflix, whether it's been BD or HD DVD. And no, I wouldn't pay extra for service I'm already getting.

I only have 1 title out of 20 or so HDs and Blus that says Short, everything else is no wait at all.
Just counted, I have 26 between HD and Blu (mostly HD) 1 is short wait, 25 are Now. Have 3 at home and 1 shipping today.
I'd pay an extra $2 or so at most... not 5-10.
The vast majority of my queue is DVDs though.

One has to decide to either stay with it as it is or cancel.
I don't see them getting more copies of HD titles. Who knows how many of each they may currently have though. Most assume it isn't enough obviously to meet demand, especially on new releases.
I just have a feeling though the price may go up for HD rentals.

Most the movies I want to see have a wait. Just checked my que and 16 of the HD and BR I want to see are on wait, and some have been this way for a while. There needs to be some sort of solution to this.
I wish they would offer guaranteed availability like Blockbuster. I find myself buying a lot of movies I wouldn't normally just because I can't get them right away through Netflix. I would be willing to pay a reasonable premium for this type of service because it would probably save me more money in the long run by reducing my movie purchases.

Please, we don't need multiple threads on Netflix. Use this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=969946
