It seems to me that Steve Jobs doesn't know what Blu-ray 1080p movies look like? :) Hasn't he watch "Cars" on Blu-ray?

If Apple commits to the Apple TV long term we could easily see the 3rd or 4th iteration supporting 1080p with with lossless sound (in 5 years or so). This would just coincide with the majority of people being ready to shift fully away from DVD. That's the killer strategy... let Blu-ray market the hell out of HD movies and then swoop in at the last minute with and grab all the customers. PooperScooper 01-17-08, 05:23 PM ^^^^ Not a bad point.
