IMHO forcing all "deals" into a single thread is tedious and limits the utility of such information. I for one, would rather not have to labor through 100+ posts to see if there is a deal worth exploring. If there was a new section on 'special deals' then one could just read the thread titles, and delve into the threads on only movies that were of interest. Just my 2 cents but I believe my thinking is in HD here!

Two comments:

1) First and foremost AVS is NOT a where to buy and get the best price website. AVS is about improving and learning about HT. IT's NOT A "DEALS" FORUM. There are other forums for that. My reason for the captial letters is this comes up enough, but ppl still don't get it or "want to" get it. They insist on trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole.

2) There is a new sticky thread with all of the current "deals". A kind member has taken the chore of updating the deals in the first post. If someone has a change or contribution they just need to PM him and he will update the first post.
