Anybody know how long it takes for Sony to acknowledge they received the PS3 you sent to them?

I sent mine via UPS I believe on Monday night. I went to the UPS shipping tracking site and I can't get the tracking number on the return label isn't valid. Then I go to the SONY website with my Service Request Number and still get that it's not valid. Anybody have any ideas?

It's been 5 days, and I miss my PS3. Come home soon PS3, ok?

I was able to view the info regarding my PS3 the day before I received it. About the time I was ready to make a phone call it arrived. It took 6 business days from when I shipped it to when I received. So I guess it was about 5 days.

How much did they charge for the reapir. If my 60gb ever dies I would pay anything not to give it up. I hope it does not catch on fire (house fire that is).

It was a launch 20GB. I had an HDMI failure about 1 year and 2 weeks after purchase. Sony is replacing it at no charge. (Thanks Sony.)
