Hello Guys,

I cant play PS3 games online after the latest PSN update.
My PS3 is connected wirelessly and my internet connection passes all the tests, I can go on the PS3 browser and even download demos and stuff. However, once I try to play any game online I immediately get disconnected from the PSN and my router resets.

I have a DLINK 624 router but I have searched and searched and it seems a LOT of people have this problem with all kinds of different routers.

I have tried putting my PS3 on a static IP, putting it into the DMZ, opening all kinds of ports.. etc.. everything has been unsuccessful, I am about to go and buy another router.. if thats the answer, whats a good Router to get?

I just ordered a 50 ft cable from Monoprice to try a hardwired connection.

Please heeelppp.. Im desperate!

...did you try a newer firmware? 2.01 and 2.10 have been released since yours. Did you update your router firmware too? D-Link has been known to have some wireless issues that they quickly fix with firmwares.

Oh, and the D-Link DIR-655 is probably the best home router money can buy. It simply has no flaws, besides the nasty price. It has the highest reviewed switching and routing speed, as well as having the most simultaneous connections at once (a must for P2P and gaming) of any router.
