Hi,
I am planning on doing a star ceiling and would like some advice from people who have done it. I have a room that has 8ft ceilings{ no trey }. It is hard to get to the corners as the ceiling and ductwork get in the way. I will be putting blue rope lighting behind the crown moulding like SMX.
Here are my choices:
1. paint it black and put most of the stars in the center and do the best i can with the edges.{very sparse out on the edges}
2. Make a frame from crown moulding and do a "window" in the center of the room, say 12x8 ft. Paint the "window" black and outside area dark grey.
3. Paint the ceiling a milano blue color and put them primarily in the center.{ maybe look like a dusk sky?}
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks,
Kale
