I have the WD MyBook (the wireless one). I want to use my PS3 to stream movies, is this possible? If so, how?

I appreciate the help.

The PS3 needs a media server to detect it. It would have to stream from a PC or a DLNA compatible device.

www.tversity.com - I use this w/ the "on the fly converter" disabled. I simply copy the compatible files over and watch :D

I use TVersity on my PC so the PS3 can stream, but I get mixed results.

Are you saying that regardless of that, I must have my PC connected to my Hard Drive, then use the PS3 to get to the files on the hard drive?

If you want the hard drive to be read from the PS3, if it's FAT32 formatted, you can connect it directly to the PS3 via USB. As for wireless, I don't think it's possible. I haven't read anyone that has tried though (never worked w/ an external wireless drive myself either).
