I read on a post that Hollywood stocks them locally.

I'm still waiting for my local HV to adopt HD media.

While my HV rents HD-DVDs, they do not yet sell them pre-owned. I assume this is because they only have a couple of each title at most, whereas with other DVDs they stock 20-30 copies
