What I currently have:
TV: Samsung LN-T4065F
Satelite: Dishnetwork DVR 625

I just bought this:
DVD Recorder: Samsung DVD-VR357

Please tell me what I am doing wrong:
Video: S-video "out" from my dish dvr to "in" of samsung dvd recorder.
Then s-video "out" from dvd recorder to the "in" of my tv.

Audio: red/white "out" from dish dvr to "in" of samsung dvd recorder.
Then red/white "out" to "in" of my yamaha receiver.

After all this, no sound, and black screen.
Is the logic of the wiring wrong??
I am so confused. Cannot think of anything I did wrong.

Please see the back to each of my equipment:

Make sure you have the correct line input selected on the DVD recorder.
