OK which would be better the CSX-12 or 15 if price isnt an option which would you get. Do you think the 15 would be to big/over powering. I am running and Onkyo 805 and I still dont know what speakers im going to get yet, but looking at maybe cadence cinema package when it becomes avalible later this year.
CSX-15. No such thing as too much. There's a volume knob for a reason. Rather have headroom for those extra peaky sections than a bottoming out sub.

What he said...
Though if price isn't an issue, I'd go for something else altogether :D

Ok, in that case, what he said ;)
The CSX-15 is a great bargain IMO. Headroom is always preferable. It's much better to have more sub than you need and not use all of it, than be straining your sub by running it at its limits. Running a sub at it's limits increases distortion and compresses dynamics, and just makes bass muddier, less defined, and less enjoyable. If you can afford the 15" with no problem, and the size isn't an issue, go with the CSX-15, no question.

Yep, agree with the rest - you can never have too much headroom. The CSX-15 really can't be beat for its price. That thing can tear the paint off the walls, you will not be disappointed. :)
The more sub...the better. :D The most imposing sub can sound great in a small room, the smallest sub will never perform well its duty in a large one.
Get the most sub you can,you will be glad you did.
