Some of those are pretty cool, surprising how small the screens are on most of them though.

Nice list. I'm not a fan of "theme" theaters in general but a bunch were very cool to look and and would be fun to visit.

When it comes down to ultimate preference, I prefer a home theater that feels neat, luxurious and inviting to just flop in the seats and watch a movie. A lot of those theaters are cool looking in of themselves, but don't look particularly inviting as far as movie-watching is concerned.

Good to see some AVS'ers theaters on there. Obviously the list, for the most part, was not bases on audio or video quality. Some really cool rooms but a lot of them wouldn't be my first choice to watch a great movie on.

I always think those theme theaters tend to date itself and get boring after a while. Sort of like riding the same ride at a carnival over and over again, however I do enjoy looking at some of these incredible looking theater's. To me my favorites here are Titanic and the newer Star Trek themed theater. There was a lot of money and work to make these theaters look authenic and elegant. The sci-fi video at the bottom looks more like a creature feature museum to go visit, but way to much clutter for my taste to use as a home theater.
