HI guys......just wondering how long to run my new vw60 before the globe becomes stable enough for calibration?

Also will the color go out of calibration as the globe ages? eg at 1000 hours will the initial calibration still be accurate?

thanks in advance jeff

With climate change, AIDS, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, nuclear powers, poverty, and other issues...I"m fearful that the globe will never be stable enough...

I'd still recommend that you calibrate at 100 hours or so...

(not laughing at you in any way Jeff, that was just a witty response on Mit's part :) )

apart from the witty but true response does anyone know if vw60 owners will experience globe color shift with aging.?

also has anyone used the sony image director software and can report on its usefullness?

I can tell you that I just got the VW60 from AVS and Jason mentioned having about 20 hours on the lamp until it's ready for a calibration.

Hope this helps.
