I will add SVS PB12-NSD $599+shipping into that mix. thebuckaman 01-25-08, 09:50 PM I own the Epik Knight and love it. it is a splendid subwoofer and makes me grin everytime I listen to it (movies or music). Deep, clean, and loud. 599.00 it is a deal....and you can get it within a week or so. My 2cents lakebum431 01-25-08, 10:02 PM I just picked up the SVS PB12-NSD last week for use with my 3808 and it is amazing! blake18 01-25-08, 10:04 PM EDIT: Oops, you said under $800 I would recommend the Hsu VTF-3 MK3 w/o turbo: http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-3-mk3.html IMO, this is by far the best performer in your price range. domingos1965 01-26-08, 08:03 AM EDIT: Oops, you said under $800 I would recommend the Hsu VTF-3 MK3 w/o turbo: http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-3-mk3.html IMO, this is by far the best performer in your price range. thats your opinion. the eD A5-350 is BETTER according to CRAIGsubs ratings CADOBHuK 01-26-08, 03:51 PM Yeah the knight and the mwf15 I'm sure are better as well. So may be you meant to say "the worst performer in your price range" ? Jr Flyers 01-28-08, 08:56 AM Thanks For the help, what about the Velodyne DLS series or the Klipsch RSW series how to they compare. CADOBHuK 01-28-08, 02:23 PM They dont. Another sub thats a little over the price cap of 800 would be eD a7s-450 with 1300w amp. It hasn't been tested but sure looks good from the specs. Otherwise, I would go with either Caliber - not "Caliper" - or the mwf-15 |
