I own the Epik Knight and love it. it is a splendid subwoofer and makes me grin everytime I listen to it (movies or music). Deep, clean, and loud. 599.00 it is a deal....and you can get it within a week or so.

Yeah the knight and the mwf15 I'm sure are better as well. So may be you meant to say "the worst performer in your price range" ?

They dont. Another sub thats a little over the price cap of 800 would be eD a7s-450 with 1300w amp. It hasn't been tested but sure looks good from the specs.
Otherwise, I would go with either Caliber - not "Caliper" - or the mwf-15
