hey guys. my HT setup is in my bedroom, which is a whopping 13x13 feet. my problem is the insane amount of dust.

my house is older, so theres no central A/C, the heat comes from water pipes with some coil-ish things on them (sorry, dont know the correct term for it). so air circulation is at a minimum, which is def part of my problem.

BUT, short of having an entire HVAC system fitted to my parents house, which there is no way in hell im doing, what can i do to cut down on the dust?

no matter what i cant eliminate the dust, but i need something to ease my pain!!!!

It’s an almost daily routine at keeping the home clean and tidy. I wipe over the top surfaces several times a week, I sweep the floor that is tiled and then vacuum around its got to be done.

I tell you something thou my neighbour downstairs says he’s christen and yet his frigging flat as cobwebs hanging all over it! He vacuums like a pussy I have to show him how he dusts like lady no elbow-grease just a frigging lazy ass.

There’s another neighbour across the road and he as three cats at first he had two and the smell of cat piss urine was enough to make my eyes water!!:( It was that bad and cat fur all over the flat I mean the carpet was buried beneath all the cat fur! :(

Totally disgusting and what’s more there are flies I must have counted at least 40 files buzzing around I was so embarrassed:o and good knows what the cats must be feeling because his kitchen on the work-tops was covered in cat sh!t and stale cat piss I’m not kidding I’m not making this stuff up! It was filthy and the guy I saw him dry his hair with the same bath towel as he used to dry off the dogs.:(

This was about 4 weeks ago after I brought a kitten of private owner who knows the neighbour downstairs and I was invented over to the other neighbour, who lives across the road. Never again will I step one toe inside his flat! It is Pen and Ink its that bad and the guy is always warring the same cloths and he stinks BAD!:(

I bought a portable air filter. I don't have much of a dust problem but I have a cat and dog that shed. It works great. You can find many different types at any home improvement center.

I'm not sure how applicable this will be for you, but after my basement was remodeled, the was dust everywhere. I could dust in the morning and it'd be dusty again in the early afternoon.

I bought a blower that's used to dry pets (if you have an interest I'll look up the brand name), and two large fans and placed them so that one blows into the room and one blows out. Using the blower to get dust airborne, the fans carried the dust out of the house. This did the job when endless dusting did not.
