So I have a Optimus Pro sw100p subwoofer. I pulled the fuse from it to test out another project I have, and ended up blowing the fuse. I went to radio shack and got some slow blow 2-amp 250 volt fuses. Hooked the sub back up, and now whenever I plug in the low level input, all I get is a very low hum.
Will a fuse do this, or is something else the problem?

You sure you got the right fuse? And if so, you sure you mounted it properly in its fuse holder?

oh wow I didn't know fuses really had a direction that they had to go in. Turned it around and it seems to be working now. Thanks

actually I think it is the wire that I got. Damn I should have known that if it's a 1.99 at radio shack then something is wrong.
it's an older sub with a y connection, and I can't for the life of me find a cord that works. I have a monster cord from before that works, but sometimes it fails and just does the low hum.
any ideas?
