Does anyone know if these work with the new Blu-Ray DVDs or HD-DVDs?

Looking for people who have used or tried them with these Formats & how is the Picture Quality? I'm not looking for people who think they might work with them just people who have tried them so they can report on the Picture Quality. Thanks

geez, i havent tried it but what the hey! they should work as long as u use the s video/composite video outputs on the players.

of course they'll be down rezzed to 480i. play'em back thru a good upscaler set to 720p or 1080i, they'll look pretty good. but they wont be hd.

i'll bet thats not what u wanted 2 hear, is it.

:D

No I really don't care if they are down rezzed, and I thought they would be, because the copies would be used in a laptop, portable dvd player, car dvd player & to give to the kids & etc so I only wanted them so the originals would'nt get scratched & etc when using them on the go.

And the reason I was asking for someone that had tried it was because I thought maybe the new formats might have some new type of copyguard in it that the Sima's could'nt decode.

So has anybody tried copying the new formats with a Sima?
