No, not unless the wall is just about ready to fall under it's own weight anyway. 12Hz is pretty optimistic for a 12" sub-with any useable output anyway. What sub are you considering?

I have dual 18's that get my non-tempered windows flapping half an inch.

Tempered is *way* stronger.

He has four of ED's 18" drivers. It is kind of like having eight ED A7S-450's. I am not sure how much power he is running to each of them, but I know that it is a lot.

For giggles, you should cover the subs somehow, make them disappear but still connected and tell folks that's all Klipsch! Heck, really mess with them and just connect a few little bookshelf speakers.

Im getting ready to install my first IB. I plan to do just that with my oldish bookshelf JBL speakers... They have decent "bass" for a bookshelf, but, not 2 15's worth!

I wonder what the bass would feel like if you pulled the couch out a few feet from the back wall and laid the two subs on their sides, one on top of the other, right behind the couch...now THAT would be some impressive near field placement :D. Not to mention you'd probably get a better surround effect with some space behind the LP ;).
