I have a Stewart Firehawk screen that I use with an older Sony VPL-HS20. I am thinking of a 1080P projector upgrade later this year. I was wondering how much benefit would I get by buying a new screen "specially designed for 1080P", or will the Firehawk be fine for the new projector. Thanks in advance for your replies, Pete.

The Firehawk should probably be fine. What is the size of screen you have?
What is your room like?
What new projector are you looking at getting?

I'm embarrased to say that I've forgotten the exact size: 89 inches I think, I sit 12 feet away in the first row. I was thinking that the existing screen would be fine. I was thinking of buying a sony sxrd or jvc dila.
