I have a Denon 4308 and a VP50Pro, should I run the sources into the back of the VP and than out to the Denon onto the Projector? I'm using power via a Sherbourn Amp so the Denon's basically a Pre-Amp for the audio. I have turned of the scaling within the Denon.

Sources are PS3, Toshiab A-35 and HR21 Direc TV box? Projector is a Sim380

Any other advise regarding hook up would be great.

Thanks
Steve

Well that would be the preferred routing, but the Pro will not pass HBR audio. You’ll need to use the Denon as the hub and go to the Pro, then the display. If you use the Pro as the hub / switcher, your HD/BR players will only send the core or down sampled audio tracks off the disks.

Thanks for the answer. One other question than, if I'm using just one output to the VP when I switch with the Denon I still should be able to calibrate each source as it's coming from the Denon to the VP?

Thanks again for your assistance.

Calibrate? I don't think so. Not if you are refering to CMS for each source. You can set up different display profiles for each though, which is what I'm doing.
