I just watched a segment of "Geared Up" on MoJo.
They talked about front projectors. I realize they are limited on time and have to condensed a lot of footage but so much half truths were spoken that I would causion anyone using the content to base your buying decisions on.
They touched on TIs DC2 chip as setting new standards. Id say thats a little outdated. They then showed a popular 1 chip with the DC3 chip and said its performance exceeds 3 chip design. Plenty of other things to pick apart but its still nice to see many of these projectors on the TV screen. For myself the video is fun just do not put a lot of faith in what they are saying.

Alan do you know off hand which projectors they showed in the show?

Mits ?, Panny 900, Marantz ? , Sony VW100, Runco 3 chip . Im sure I am forgetting a few.

Yup thats it. They did show more projectors then whats showing in the pictures. Its worthing.

Alan, you didn't hear? TI decided the DC2 was good enough so they ditched the DC3 and 4. Intel also decided the 486DX266 was the way to go so they are starting those back up as well. :)
