I would like to purchase an LCD/Plasma screen to ship back to Europe (via container). They are much cheaper here, especially with the weak USD.

In the old days, we had a problem with PAL/NTSC. Unfortunately, Serbia still has basic analog cable that comes in a form of RF signal. This won't work on a NTSC tuner. I suppose I can get an external cable box and use component or DVI input or something similar to get this to work and just use the TV as monitor.

Does anyone know if this would work?

I also know Panasonic has professional series of TVs that is tuner free and supports PAL/NTSC signal.
