I have had my Sony VW50 for over a year now and have just about got the settings about right. I have watched all kinds of HD-DVD'S and Blu-Rays with very nice results. I then watched the movie "Unforgiven" with Clint Eastwood ,the settings that I have been using came a little bit unstuck at the point 1hr:53mins for instance.
The black levels were all over the place,I know I'm not going to get CRT black.
I was hoping someone could put the movie on with their projector and share the settings.
Its always difficult trying to reproduce an image at home that the Director and DOP,Jack N Green had originally intended.
Da-lite screen material using Sony BDP-S1 1080/24p HDMI
thanks Davide
