First let me say that this plasma is for our bedroom so I dont have a high def (DVR) box. I only have the coax cable from our cable provider fed directly into the TV. I also have a DVD player fed into the TV with an HDMI cable.

I am having two problems:

1) On Fox HD (which is local channel 41-1) I get a wierd noise from time to time. I can't even explain the noise but it usually occurs during crowd noise (during a ballgame) or when music is played. It is a wierd "buzzing" type noise. The TV has done this from day 1. It only happens on this channel.

2) When I first ran the TV set up, I received all local HD channels, which are3-1 (NBC), 11-1 (CBS), 15-1 (KET), 32-1 (NBC), 41-1 (FOX), and 58-1 (PBS) locally. Then one day I turned the TV on and suddenly didn't have 11-1 (CBS HD) anymore. I ran the TV set up again but I can't get the channel to come in anymore. I type in 11-1 on the remote and it automatically goes to channel 11, which is a an analog channel.

I have a 65" Toshiba DLP in the basement. I have the cable fed into a DVR box. Then an HDMI cable from the DVR box to the TV. The picture and sound is perfect. I get no noise on FOX HD on that TV and I get CBS HD with no problems.

Could my issues with the HP 42" plasma be caused because I don't have a High Def (DVD) box...or could it be a problem with the TV...or could I have the settings wrong somehow?

Thanks in advance for your help
