Hey guys,

Last week, while in between songs, my strap disloged from my xplorer causing it to drop to the floor (I wasn't holding on to the guitar at the time). Anyway, my star power via tilt sensor stopped working. I was able to use the "select" button to activate star power, but that too has stopped working. Actually, what happens is once I reach the halfway point on the star meter and can actually activate star power, it kicks on by itself. It then does not activate (or allow me to activate it) for the rest of the song.

I have seen detailed threads on how to dismantle the guitar and avoid screwing up the whammy bar, but does anyone know where I should look within the guts to fix the tilt? Is it in the neck, in the body?

In the pics I saw, it looks like the wires are attached with some sort of clear substance. If I have a loose wire, how can I re-attach it?

Any help or insight that could steer me at least where too look would be helpful.

At this point, I am not willing to spend the price of a game+ to buy a new or used guitar. I already have the game only versions of GH3 and Rock Band.
