I own the GGC-H20L with the latest drivers v 1.02. PDVD Ultra the latest version 3704. I have 10 blue-ray discs that play fine but I also have 5 that do not play past the menu, they are:

Dragon Wars
Ultimate Avengers collection
Doctor Strange
POTC:dead man's chest and curse of the black pearl

Has anyone else have this problem and is there a fix. I have yet to receive a reply from LG's customer support.

you should ask this in the HTPC forum, they'll be able to help you better there.

Can you at least read the contents of the disks? It might be your software player is not updated to support these disks.

You would have better luck asking in the gigantic threads in the Home Theater Computers forum or the smaller but still big thread in the Dual-Format Players forum here.

Same drive.
Dragon wars the other PotC title (At World's End) (both rental) worked fine.
Dont have other titles
Make sure you get the latest updates to PDVD Ultra.
