Using the provided linkstation media server, I can stream transport streams fine to my IOdata LP2 or Kuro media players if I first rename extension to mpg from ts or tp; but I would like to leave them as saved on the NAS drive for compatiblity with other playback devices on my network, such as the MyHD they could be recorded with.

Is there an easy solution (short of hacking the box and installing other server software?
