So, hese the deal , I work for tweeter and I can get a pretty good deal on either set and they are both withing about 50 bucks of eachother. I know the picture quality of each set as I look at them every day. Im pretty torn on which to get. Its basically a coin flip for me at this point. I need you guys to help sway me towards one over the other.

Thats a tuff call. Me, if both were the same price, I would probably get the Sony. But you an extra two inches with the plasma and possibly a smoother picture. If the plasma is a few hundred dollars less, then I would defiantly get the plasma. Just my 2 cents.

I am bias toward plasma since I own one. But I am impressed by Sony's LCD's.

Bottom line though get the one that looks good to your eyes. Your the one thats going to have to live with it. Both are great sets in there own way.

im a big gamer, im gonna have to bring my 360 into work and test it on the plasma, ive already seen it on the lcd and its stunning.

235 watts=Sony 387watts=Panny. Do you have a lot of windows or lighting you can't control? If you're big on gaming you might think about 120hz set like the XBR4.:D
