I just got DTV and noticed that some of the channels (mostly the HD ones) have been having audio issues as follows...

1. Audio seems to lag about 1 second behind what I am seeing on screen.
2. HD Channels seem to broadcast in mono, while SD channels are in stereo.

Has anyone else experianced these issues with DTV, and how did they correct it? My setup is as follows...

Samsung LRT4065
Sony PS3 (HDMI/Optical)
Onkyo HR-R320
DTV H20-100S (Component)

Lip-sync has been a problem forever. Either they can't fix it our just don't want to bother.

Some people say it's only with HDMI and if you use optical cables it is better. The AV receiver I have has a delay adjustment that fixes it.

I have fairly well stopped mine by switching from HDMI to component on all of my sets.

Hmmmm. Im using component now (from DTV receiver to TV). Im really surprised that DTV hasnt corrected this issue if it is so widespread.
