So I was messing around with the HDTV settings in the H21-200 and I think that I switched the native mode to off, because now I get nothing but a scrambled picture. I can not even see the menu, but I can see that when I press the menu button that the screen does change, but it is still scrambled. I spoke with Direct for about a hour but they could not help me figure it out. I did try resetting and still no luck. It was working fine until I changed something. I am not 100% sure that it was the native setting, but I am pretty sure that was it. So can anyone give me the keyboard commands to get to that setting? Such as press menu, then arrow up, press select, arrow down, ect. Or if any one could post a screen grab of those menus that might be even better.
Thanks,
Steve

Use the format buttons on the front of the unit. They should be on the right side.

Good call. Some TVs won't show 480i so this might get a picture.

I tried pressing the format button and still no luck. Any other thoughts or can some one guide me through the steps needed to get to the native mode, ie: arrow up once, select, down twice, select, etc.

I assume you are using componet or digital out of the box to your TV.
If you use composite, the yellow video out or s video, you TV should see the signal as 480i and you should be able to see the menu.

Yes it is component. I have had this all working fine until I went into the service menu of the sat receiver and changed something. So I has nothing to do with the tv. I thought that it was the native mode that I changed, but I am starting to think that is not it. Anyone have any ideas, or can some one please give me the sequence to get to the native menu?
Thanks,
Steve

I have an HR20 so I am not sure the menu is the same. However if you just hook up the video out IE the yellow wire or svideo to you tv it will be 520 resolution and you should be able to see the menu.
