I have built a new app for creating TViX movie wallpapers, this new app has web based searches and download of film information from the web automatically.

The downloading of info from the web makes the creation of wallpapers easy and quick.

The software is free and comes with source code for Delphi6.

Looks promising, but how exactly does it work? The search wont work for me (no results showing up)... and can I load a list of my movies somehow? Or is it all done though the manual search?

Sometimes the page may not download correctly (first release), please try the search button a couple of times, or reduce your search text, ie
from The Bourne Identity to Bourne or Identity.

One of the next steps is to scan all your movies and try searches from the file names.

Keep me updated with issues and problems, and I will try to fix them.

The search is working for me sometimes now... I searched "bourne" like you said, and all the bourne movies appeared. But when I search other short titles such as "superbad" or "knocked up", I'm still not getting results.

Aside from the search issues, I think you have a nice little program here. I like the output it creates, I like how simple it is to edit the synopsis. I wouldnt mind some options to select which info you want and dont want to display on the wallpaper (ie. genre, actors).

Once you created the ability to add a folder of movies, I could see this becoming my program of choice.

Yes the search function works on and off, and it would be really nice to select/deselect which components to include in the final wallpaper.

How does it download the information, I mean from where? A quick search for the movie "Spy Game" returned with the genre as "Horror".

does this prog download sypnosis only cos the jpg file are 0 kb :confused:

All of the data and images are gathered from the web, you will need to load a wallpaper background (Load Cover Button), some backgrounds are included, then the text and the image will be overlayed on top, you can then save the completed wallpaper to your move file directory.
