I have their full digital connection package with internet access and have a stb on my big screen that gives me hundreds of digital channels and HD channels. I bought a new vizio vx32 that i hook up directly to the cable and scan but get no digital channels found, only the analog channels. A friend has an olevia directly hooked up and gets all the locals in HD, but my vizio doesnt find them. Any ideas?

I took the tv to my parents (verion fios) and it finds 100's of digital channels, so i assume there isnt an issue with the tv.

Update: As a test i hooked up my samsung directly instead of through the stb and it finds the local hd channels correctly. Have there been issues with these vizios finding digital / hd channels in cable mode? It seems to find ota when scanned in antenna mode with a simple antenna.
