Hey guys!
Gutted! Just bought a tvix M-4000 P (www(dot)tvix.co.kr/Eng/products/HDM4000P.aspx...sorry, not allowed to post url's before 3 posts :( ) for £150 ($us 300)!! And yesterday I found out about popcorn hour...
Since I bought the tivx 3 days ago I can still return it, I think I might because after reading these forum and doing a bit more research, it seems obsolete!!
What do you think?
I know, should have done the research before buying...I did, but I couldn't find much and all the other tvix media players were too expensive!

I also wanted to ask if you knew what kind of HDD interface the PH reads (IDE, SATA, ...)
From what I read (not sure if I undertood correctly) it can read from external Hard disks, is that true?

Thanks

Yes, it can read external USB hard drives. The internal HDD (optional) is IDE...
The PCH is a better match for HD files as to where TViX 4000 is an older product which basically concentrates around SD files...

The TViX can be used as an external hard drive but the popcorn can't.

Thanks for the reply!
After all, I think I might stick with the tvix 4000.
For now I only need it for playing mainly .avi files and I dont need ant of the other fancy stuff that the other players have....
