It only shows about 240/300... why? It takes away like all my good songs lol. Is there a song limit?

****, it's showing 7,141 songs for me.

Do you have them in some weird directory structure?

It's possible that you may have downloaded songs which have some sort of DRM built in. I've...uh. Well I don't have those issues ;) Someone that has bought a lot of songs from iTunes may be able to answer better than me.

What are you using to look at the mp3s?

Are you using a media server like TVersity?

If so, try refreshing your server.

If it's Windows Media Center, light it on fire and download TVersity. It's free.

I'd follow policy's advice and stop using wmp 11 to stream your media to your 360. Switch to TVersity; it's a lot less picky. I've had much better luck using it with both my 360 and my PS3. See if that helps.

Does anybody know how to move songs from an external HD or mp3 player to the 360's hard drive?

you cant, only from a PC and only using a device that will access the 360 sata interface, there are two products that i know of that will do this, and as far as i know this is the only way.

Datel Xport
Datel Xsata

both do the same basic thing, both cost about $50 USD.
