Can anyone explain why I get a more movie-theater feel watching some 720p trailers, than watching high-def content on my TV? I don't mean the overall quality, just that it seems smoother or more fluid.

I was wondering if it's cause my PC monitor is an m-pva LCD (1680 x 1050), while my TV is a CRT (34XBR800), so the monitor is showing native 720p while the TV is 1080i?

Or maybe it's just cause the image is smaller.

its probably the framerate of films which is about 24 fps versus normal video content framerate which is usually 30 fps, im not quite sure but i believe that some hd video is also 60 fps.
