Which format sounds better to you guys? High quality VBR 5.1 AAC or AC3 audio in HD AVC files. AC3 sounds crisper to me and it handles high pitched sounds very well. AAC audio sounds almost equal to me, except very high pitched sound seems to sound distorted. I always encode AAC in VBR 1.0 format. Maybe I should try encoding it as ABR with a static bitrate.
