Hi guys,
I have a rather Oldie (2000) but Goodie (Proxima DP-9260) Projector that's capable of 1080i.
When I hook up my Xbox360 through component I get a horrible vertical banding that seems to kick in primarily during gameplay. For some strange reason the cinematics aren't affected. 2 pics below:

OK.
So at first I thought it was my crappy component cables (I bought the cheapest HD cables at the time) So I went out and bought a set of Rocketfish Component cables for my 360 - still the same issue.
When I crank it down to 720p I still get mild banding. Enough to still annoy me. Of course, 480p (which, on a projector looks like crap) I get no banding at all.
What gives?
Any possible remedies for this mess?
