Has anybody had any issues with Comcast's new non-DVR HD HDMI boxes (Motorola DCH-3200)?

I am unable to get a signal through the HDMI connection. The STB will output standard video through coaxial and my HD TV will work with my older HD DVR DCT-6412 over HDMI but the two together will no cooperate. The icon on the front of the STB will constantly jump back and forth from 480p to 720i to 1080i and every few seconds will flash something like DU1 DUL DVI or DVL. I'm also unable to adjust the STB's user settings (by hitting power and then menu) while the HDMI is connected. I have to disconnect it to change anything on that screen. I suspect it is a HDCP handshake issue. So far I'm swapped out the box for another and have unplugged and reset/cycled it multiple times. I appreciate anybody's input on this.

The TV that's having issues with this box is: Hanns G HG-216DPB 21.6"

My DCT-6412 does the same thing if I connect a DVI cable to it. (mine's the older type, no HDMI). Handshake problem obviously, but don't know how to fix it.

well I gave up after 3 trips to the service center to swap boxes including a 6412 HDMI 6412 DVI and the new 3200, trying hdmi-hdmi or dvi-hdmi or dvi-vga, a visit from a technician, and searching the web for the answers. the bottom-line appears to be that these monitors are meant for prime-time with comcast's motorola boxes. i've spent too much time messing around just for a stupid 22 sub-par tv. the few times i managed to get the picture working briefly (until i turned off the box) the hd picture was less than impressive anyway. i'd rather have a flat-screen tube with a better overall picture without paying comcast $5 more a month.

Got mine working, Comcast said DVI was disabled on my old box - I got a new one and it works fine, HDMI to DVI to my XBR800.
