Is there a way to pause the game that your currently playing and tell which level you choose at the begining by looking in the menus somewhere? The reason I ask is that I just started and the first couple of levels seemed kinda easy. I realize that this game gets harder as you go on. I can't remember which level I choose at the training facility and was wondering if somewhere in the game you can see what level that your playing at...thanks

after you beat the game, you get mission select option and u can start any level.

Perhaps I should have asked the question as...the level of difficulty that I started the game on. I either started on the first or second level of difficulty....I was hoping to see which level I choose before I get too deep in the game.

if you beat a couple levels then you should have achievements for beating them on that difficulty, this may NOT include recruit or whichever is the easiest, so if you dont have the achieves then you're probably on the easiest level.

Yeah I did get the achievement for jumping off the boat...so I guess I am on the second level of difficulty at least. thanks

i could be wrong about that, personally i'd just start over on hardened, especially if you're not too far into the game.
