Here's a pretty basic question. I have 2 PS3 controllers. When I turn on controller one, the four lights blink and the first light stays on, I'm assuming that it is confirming that this is indeed controller 1. However, when I turn on my second controller, the four lights flash then no lights stay on. Shouldn't light number two stay on since it's my second controller, not the first? I've gone into setup but I don't see where I would do anything to change this behavior. My goal is to have both assigned as controller one and two before I plug in my Nyko remote dongle which otherwise would take up the next available controller slot. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that if you plug in your controller into the usb connection it will detect it and set it as the next available controller. Try it out.

Plugging the second controller into the PS3 directly fixed the problem. I'm assuming you only need to do this the first time.
