I'm a beginner when it comes to HD antennas so bare with me if I've made a stupid mistake. I just moved to a new house and I bought the Philips MANT940 just as a temporary solution for my new tv until I get satellite hooked up. I had it indoors right by the TV for about a week and I was able to pick up about half of the stations and about 3 or 4 digital stations very clearly. I bought an antenna mast and decided to mount it outside today. I mounted it on the roof awning and there is not obstructions to the towers (most 5-6 miles away). I replaced the RG59 that came with the antenna and ran RG6 Quad to and from the antenna. Just to clarify here's my set up:

MANT940 ---> Power Injector Module ---> Splitter (5MHz to 2.3GHz) ---> Television

The run from antenna to Power Injector and Splitter is about 25 feet and the run from the splitter to the television is about another 25 feet.

So, now I pick up less channels and on some of the ones I still get, the picture is worse. I'm not sure what could be wrong as the antenna has a better line at the towers. I checked my connections but didn't see any problems. Anyone have any ideas?

you could be having overload problems.
