i just bought a sony kds503000a, and want to try one of the calibrating disks to try to get the best picture possible.
1. since i will be the person watching this set the most, should i calibrate the set even though i am red-green color defiecent, or should i get my wife to do the calibration.
2. i will be watching dvds via a denon avr-3808ci and dvd-2930ci. no blu-ray or hd-dvd yet. i will probably get directv hd soon, or upgrade my comcast to hd. which disk would be best suited for my calibration needs. avia-II, getgray, dve, or another disk? thanks in advance for any info.
