Hi everyone!
I need your help.
I just bough a dvico tvix M-4000SA and a Seagate barracuda SATA-II hard drive.
I plug the tvix with the hard disk inside (I verified all the cable), the computer seems to recognized the disk (see screenshot attached) but the icon on "My computer" does not appear.
(I tried on 2 computers and it's the same)

Any ideas? please, I can't wait to get this bad boy working :p

Thanks

You need to format the drive. :)

Thanks for the answer....
I'll try that andI'll keep you posted

Edit: is it possible to do it when the disk is in the tvix? Because I think the motherboard on my computer is for IDE's :(

It will take some time :)

No format/active partition is why your drive is showing the correct space but listing it all as unallocated

should be fine (I think) as I'm guessing the unit just sees it as USB attached storage

Assuming you are on XP go to Control Panel--> Administrive Tools-->Computer Management

Then you should see the storage/Disk management option.

You can then format, partition etc.
