Hi all. Kind of a weird request here. I just bought an electric 6 piece recliner sectional from Haverty's last week. The outer recliners have switches built into the outside of the recliner, while the 2 inner recliners have wired remotes to control reclining position. I would like to find switches similar to what the outer recliners have, so I can install them into the adjoining consoles of the inner recliners and eliminate the need for the wired remote.

It's just a simple 2 position switch, but it has a nice slide lock cover plate, that hides the screws and makes it look nice. I was wondering if anyone knows of any places that have parts like this that you can order. I have surfed for awhile and haven't come across anything.

Worse case, I can try to call Haverty's warehouse and see if I can buy a couple switches from them.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

My wife and I have just recently purchased a lot of furniture from Haverty's and although it is nice furniture they do not make their own. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of the seats rather than talking to Haverty's warehouse personnel.

That's the problem. I can't find any ID anywhere on the sectional that identifies who the original manufacturer is. Maybe I can get that info from Haverty's warehouse.

Thanks.

Can the salesperson you dealt with help you?

Furniture manufacturers are typically not in the switch building business and they are most likely an "off the shelf" part. There is a chance it's a custom spec switch, but probably not.

I would take one switch out and see if there is a manufacture stamped on it. Start there, you may be able to find them somewhere like Grainger.
