So I used AVIA to do the calibration. The "sharpness" has stumped me....does this do what "focus" does? I would think I need to dial in "sharpness" and later dial in "focus"....or is it the same thing?? symantics?? thanks a million

Sharpness and focus are different.

Sharpness controls the high frequency response of the system, i.e. the ability to highlight or enhance edges.

Focus, only applies to projection technologies, makes sure that the image is projected on the correct plane.
