I asked Ovation about a release date for blu ray version of Avia2 and this is the response I received today:

Thank you for your inquiry. The goal was to have the Blu-ray disc available sometime in the first quarter 2008, but the technical development team attended the Consumer Electronics Show in January and are now making updates to the product. With that in mind, I do not have a firm release date at this time.

(Initially we planned to release HD discs at the same time as the NTSC edition, but the developers were not satisfied with how the finished product would work in HD and decided to re-work the material. Now they are making even more improvements based on what was learned at the tradeshow.)
