So last night we are watching TV, only about 30 mins in there is a LOUD pop and then the Plasma turns to standbye, no picture.
We turn everything off, for about 10 mins, while we quickly searched for the warranty info (thankfully it's still covered). Then i decide to try turning it on again, and what do you know, picture is back and everything seems fine.

The only problem is, with a pop that loud, there is no way that something did no break inside. Anyone have any ideas what could have happened???? :confused:

No idea there but I would find the warranty and if it's still covered, I'd have NEC check it out.

No ideas, but the warranty work is free so have a tech give you some advice or call NEC direct to see what they have to say.
