I'm ready for the chairs in my room. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm considering the Orion leather recliners they seem to be a less expensive option to Berkline.

I've never seen the Orion recliners you are talking about, but I used to have 4 Berkline model 89 or 90 that I just loved. They were a bit more, but sound build quality, very comfortable and just looked good.

Leather is too noisy :o for home cinema it creeks!

This weekend I went looking. I found Palliser made the most comfortable. I am sure there is better but it's most likely going to be custom made and you arent able to test it first. Palliser to me is a bonus, since it's made locally.

One suggestion is to be sure to check the prices out from some of the online vendors that get mentioned in this forum.

If you evaluate chairs based on the prices you see in a local store you might be very surprised to find your favorite available at a lower price point.

I just picked up 3 Berkline HT seat combo from Costco for $1249 + tax = $1384. Regular price was $1599 - $350 instant rebate.

I went to Home theatre authority not five minutes ago and just ordered a 1 row 2 seat for $859. That price includes everything and delivery.

Report back on these because I'm curious as to the make and feel of these...also they are he same price as the Studios, but slightly narrower...

I ended up getting 4 black leather recliners from havertys and am totally happy. I sat in all the different kind of theater seats and none was as comfortable as the recliners to me being 6'4
