Hi, I am in the market for a PDP-6010FD. I read a review on Cnet that says the TV is flawed when it comes to HDMI. here is the link:

Does this guy know what he is talking about or is he confused?
I just want to make sure there is not an HDMI problem with the TV before i buy it.
Thanks!!
HDMI works perfectly here, from a HTPC.
I've got a 6010, and have an HD-DVD player and a Dish HD-DVR connected directly via HDMI and have connected my MacBook Pro via a DVI to HDMI cable. No problems encountered with any of those .....

My 5010 has handled every HDMI device I've thrown at it.

I know someone who had an issue where his 5010 would not take audio off hdmi from a HTPC. I don't know if it was resolved or not yet, but he had Pioneer technicians come out and look at it and they couldn't fix it and the HP techs said it was the TV that was the issue.

Sounds like this guy was just a victim of a random occurance. Problems happen sometimes to all TV's. I have heard nothing but good things about the PDP-6010FD.
I am gonna go ahead and purchase soon.
Thanks guys.

HDMI can be tricky. Even though every new version it's meant to be compatible with all previous versions it's known that there are some compatibility issues. This guy is saying that the 2 newer players work flawlessly while the older one doesn't. I'm not surprised, but it shouldn't be considered a flaw on the TV.
Just my $0.02
(I had to throw this in, since I'm buying this TV very soon...)

Just so you know that's not cnets official review, it's just one users comments, could possibly just be a flaw with his tv. Cnet still hasn't reviewed this TV yet, why??? I don't know maybe because they conduct their tvs from the top of mount everest and it takes them 6 months to get a tv from release date. No Review for PRO-110FD, or 150FD either. Wow the latest review they have on a pioneer tv is the PDP5080 which has their editors choice award, and they rated it as the best tv of 2007, well yeah the ones you saw anyway.
