Well panasonic are one of the big flat screen manufacturers....The Lcd mentioned above is one of the best at the moment but if I had to compare it with a plasma model of the same brand like TH-42PZ700, which gives the best picture quality? Anyone have viewed these 2 screens together? It would be interesting to know.

Is it true or justified to say that LCD panels give more brightness?
